    Due to imponderable travel restrictions, ENA and AGES decided to move the conference online. This makes us totally independent of any Corona-related uncertainties and brings us virtually together!

    The next ENA Workshop will be held on 20-22 October 2020 in Vienna and hosted by AGES (Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety). 

    The three-day workshop will not only provide an interesting update on the state of the art by experienced experts but also offer plenty of time to exchange experiences, discuss aspects of interest and to network in the domain of NORM.

    Based on the three main working groups of ENA, “NORM in the Industry”, “NORM in Building Materials”, and “NORM in the Environment” the scope of the conference will be on these topics and also include the following:
    • Sampling and analysing
    • Waste and residue management
    • Regulatory aspects

    In the same period of the ENA Workshop, the IAEA will organize a NORM Conference in Vienna that is aimed at developing guidelines to member states in topics similar to in the ENA Workshop. ENA and IAEA are planning to organise some common events to add benefit for participants who will attend both events.
